AIRLINK BUS SERVICE
The Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times, 20 minutes after midnight) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre, with designated stops en route. Journey time is 20 minutes with tickets costing £5.50 single and £8.00 return (prices correct at the time of publication).
Delegates are advised to disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and to follow signs for EICC on foot (5 minute walk).
TRAM SERVICE
The Edinburgh Airport Tram stop is adjacent the arrivals and departures terminal. A covered walkway connects the airport building to the tram plaza, and trains take visitors into the city centre within 30 minutes. Ticket cost range from £7.50 for an adult single; multiday tickets start at £12.00.
Sustainable travel
BY TRAIN - National Rail
Edinburgh has two railway stations – Waverley and Haymarket. Waverley is the main station and has direct routes to many cities across the country, including over 25 daily departures from London
Another helpful tool to plan train or bus travel across the UK is the platform The Trainline. This will search the best ticket options for you, both on the rail and the bus network.
BY BUS - National Express Bus
Another alternative for bus travel. Affordable for everyone with a wide range of ticket types and no booking fees.
Edinburgh’s main bus terminal is located near to St Andrew Square. Bus connections stretch right across the UK. Within Edinburgh, there is an extensive public transport bus network.

BY TAXI
There is an excellent taxi service direct from the airport to the city. The official airport taxis at the taxi rank is situated outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately £25 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes 20 minutes depending on traffic flow and time of day.

BY CAR
The EICC is right in the centre of Edinburgh. The main entrance is on Morrison Street. For directions from your home or office visit your preferred map provider and input EH3 8EE for the destination postcode.
LEZ - Low Emission Zone information
Starting 1 June 2024, the city centre of Edinburgh has joined the Low Emission Zone cities. To find more information on areas covered and whether or not your vehicle classifies as low emission, please visit the City of Edinburgh Council website.
Parking
There are a number of car parks in close walking distance to the EICC, amongst them National Car Parks, and the Sheraton Hotel Car Park.
Another option to book parking is JustPark, a site offering a variety of public and private parking options which may often represent a good deal.
