AR, VR, MR has never been more important. It’s assisting in virtual person-to-person communication, training, sharing of information, and more. Next steps are to make XR hardware safer, better, more comfortable, and available—we can do that together.

SPIE AR VR MR 2021 is in its fourth year. It includes an academic track, invited industry talks, panel discussions, a student Optical Design Challenge, courses, workshops, headset demonstrations, and the opportunity to network with leading companies and thought leaders.

Your research will drive the improvement of XR hardware. Check in with your research team and see how everyone is doing. What might you contribute to this conference.

Focused, face-to-face instruction from industry experts. Courses include Design Techniques and Applications, Optical Technologies and Architectures for VR, AR, MR HMDs, Introduction to VR, AR, MR and Smart Eyewear, Designing and Specifying Digital Cameras, and HMD Requirements and Designs for AR.
