Profile Summary

Member of the Science Operations team of the Gemini Observatory (AURA). Researcher in the field of Stellar Astrophysics and Astronomical Instrumentation. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the European Southern Observatory (ESO Chile) and the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo (IAG-USP), where he also acted as Systems Engineer at the Giant Magellan Telescope Brazil Office (GMTBrO). He holds a double-degree PhD from IAG-USP (Brazil) and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS, France). The thesis was focused on the study of peculiar hot stars employing multiple observational techniques (spectroscopy, polarimetry, optical interferometry) and radiative transfer modeling.
