Profile Summary

Christoph Krafft worked at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (Berlin, Germany) and obtained a PhD in biophysics at the Humboldt University (Berlin, Ger-many). After research in the field of Raman and infrared spectroscopy at the University of Missouri (Kansas City, USA), University of Technology (Dresden, Germany) and University of Trieste (Italy) he received his habilitation in 2007 about endospectroscopy for medical diagnosis. Since June 2008, he is a research group leader at the Institute of Photonic Technology (Jena, Germany) working on optical cell and tissue identification, in particular using Raman imaging, FTIR imaging and nonlinears microscopy.
