Shouvik Sadhukhan

I am Shouvik Sadhukhan from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram (IIST-Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India). Presently, I am pursuing my PhD as well as Project Assistantship in IIST-Thiruvananthapuram under supervision and guidance of Prof. Dr. C. S. Narayanamurthy (Joined in 2021). My present research topic is basically focused on optical imaging and holography. We have introduced different new types of geometric phases and are trying to apply them in optical imaging and holography as well as interferometry using different phase shift algorithms. We are also applying 3 step to 2n steps all kinds of algorithms for phase retrieval works for Interferometry. We have focused on the Optical Metrological studies, Thin Film Characterization, birefringence studies, Classical Entanglement entropy modulation and Optical Microscopic Imaging for application purposes of our newly introduced geometric phases. My second part of research is focused on white light interferometry and its imaging. I have published a paper on white light Sagnac interferometer in JOSA A in the year 2022. We are dealing with a DST-SERB sponsored project on Atmospheric turbulence noise reduction with non adaptive optics technique where we are trying to establish a classical entanglement (Polarization-Angular Momentum) channel through that medium.
