Prof. Weiping Wu

Dr Weiping Wu holds the George Daniels Lectureship in Instrumentation and Sensor Systems at City University London. In 2010 he joined the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate, where he worked on graphene and 2D layered materials for optoelectronics and printed electronics. From 2013 to 2014 he was a Research Fellow at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC). His research interests include functional materials, optoelectronics, optical fibres and sensors. Dr. Weiping Wu completed his undergraduate studies in Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2004. He received PhD degree from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010.
