Dr. Vinu R.V.

Vinu R.V received the doctoral degree (Physics) in 2016 from Indian Institute of Space science and Technology (IIST), Department of Space, Govt. of India, Kerala, India. He was the recipient of International Young Scientist award from National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) of China in 2022 and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship from Department of Science and Technology, India in 2018. He qualified IIST PhD research fellowship in 2012 and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO in 2011. He was awarded the SERB travel grant by Department of Science and Technology (DST) for presenting the research paper in SPIE Photonics West-2017, USA and SPIE officers travel grant in 2014. He has authored three book chapters and more than thirty-five publications in international SCI journals. He is currently serving as the guest editor of MDPI journal Photonics and as a reviewer of various optics and photonics journals.
