Profile Summary

I obtained my PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College, London in 2008. My PhD thesis focuses on understanding cellular deformation under mechanical stresses through the use of the finite element methods. Currently, I'm a Scientist with the Computing Science department at the Institute of High Performance Computing, A*STAR , in Singapore. My research interests are in two broad areas namely: biomedical engineering for diagnostics/assessment of cardiovascular diseases and computational biomechanics through the use of numerical techniques.
