Dr. Muhammad Rafiq Abuturab

Muhammad Rafiq Abuturab received his PhD in Physics in 2008. He has been listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists List released by Stanford University (USA) with the Top 1%, World rank 629, and All India rank 3 in the field of Optoelectronics & Photonics for the second consecutive year. He has been an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology Patna, India since 2010. His research focuses on Optical Information Processing, Optical Signal Processing, Optical transforms, Optical information security, Fourier Optics, and Digital Holography. He has single-authored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, 4 papers in conference proceedings, and 1 book chapter. The average journal impact factor (as per Journal Citation Reports, Clarivate Analytics, 2020) of his papers is above 3.00. He has served as a Lead Guest Editor of the Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Security and Communication Networks, and International Journal of Optics.
