Profile Summary

Prof. Xiang’s research interests focuses on the development of novel biomedical imaging techniques, including laser induced photoacoustic tomography (PAT), X-ray acoustic computed tomography (XACT) and other radiation induced acoustic emission for biomedical imaging AND non-destructive testing.

Prof. Xiang has received many awards and honors for his work, including the DoD Prostate Cancer Research Program Award, Research Award from RSNA 2015, the Slvia Sorkin Greenfield Award for the best paper of the Medical Physics at AAPM 50th Annual Meeting.
