Prof. Hong-Seok Lee

I received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. Degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea in 1993, 1995, and 1999, respectively. In 1999, I joined Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Suwon, South Korea, and in 2016 I became a Master(VP of technology) of Samsung Electronics. I joined Seoul National Unversity as a collaboration professor from March 2022. My research interests are optics and photonics, in particular, novel optical devices and systems with micro/nano structures. My recent main research areas are the next generation 3D displays such as holographic displays and AR/MR glasses.
