Profile Summary

HirotsuguYamamoto received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from the Universityof Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. After graduation, he joined The University of Tokushima, Tokushima, Japan, where he is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Optical Science and Technology. His recent work activities have included large 3D displays using LED panels, secure displays by using visual cryptography, and applications of nanophotonics and optical computing for emerging information communications technologies.
Dr. Yamamoto received Young Scientist Award for the Presentation of an Excellent Paper, The Japan Society of Applied Physics, Outstanding Poster Paper Award at IDW'03, IDW'04, IDW'07, IDW'08, IDW'09, and IDW'10, and the Gennai Prize from the Ozaki Foundation of Japan.
