Dr. Jonathan S. Kane

Kane has over 28 years of design and development experience, focused on imaging, infrared and hyperspectral systems including engineering oversight for full system from design to production. Kane is the founder of IrZoom, former owner of Computer Optics and formerly a research and development scientist atthe US Air Force Research Labs. Kane has worked in basic research, managed and overseen optical component manufacturing, designed and deposited optical coatings, and lead optical test at IrZoom and Computer Optics for over 20 years bringing an understanding of manufacturing requirement to the design process. Kane was awarded his BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and his Phd in Electro-Optics from Boston University. Kane is presently Chief Technology Officer at Clear Align LLC.
