Profile Summary

I am a goal and dream oriented person. My life goal is to become a lead professional and generating knowledge in Signal/Image Processing. I expect to keep working in image/signal processing in the realms of filtering and modelling for image enhancement as seismic instantaneous attributes or multiple imaging or interferometry. My top goals in life are to help growing people and my significant others, personally and professionally and to enjoy and develop my career in the topics in which I think I can make a difference. I am a dream oriented person because immediate rewards (including immediate incomes) are always second to my life time goals which are family, career and culture. My values in that sense are loyalty, persistence and curiosity.
I have been professionally and personally enriched working for projects offshore and onshore Europe, Asia and Africa. Up to September 2014, I have had the pleasure of working as a Seismic Engineer for Schlumberger (WG and PTS) for nearly 5 years. I have performed onshore and on board (offshore) acquisition and QC, data processing for CSEM/MT and Seismic data; Seismic source design for a 4D seismic survey vintage. I have worked in 3 vintages for different 4D Seismic projects on board looking after the quality of the data and processing a fast track. The most challenging project I ever had was to team up for an on board fast track reaching up to depth conversion for 2D seismic lines, picking velocities and writing tapes while keeping processing batch workflow.

Location wise, my training experience includes performing office activities in Milan, Italy and Kala Lumpur, Malaysia, along with courses in Gatwick, UK; Houston, TX, USA; Kristiansund, Norway; and Abu Dhabi, UAE. The last adventure was to form part of the rig up team of the seismic equipment for one of WesternGeco’s most advanced boats: Amazon Warrior.

For my thesis and as a peer reviewer for the SEG journal Geophysics, I have worked on the topic of gas hydrates characteri
