Dr. Basanta Bhaduri

Basanta Bhaduri is currently working as a Sr. Staff Optical Engineer at Bruker Nano Surfaces, CA. He was a postdoctoral research associate at the Beckman Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and research Scientist at the college of optics an photonics, University of Central Florida.. He has received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Optics and Opto-electronics from Calcutta University, India. He also received B.Sc. in Physics from Calcutta University. He obtained his PhD in Physics (Applied Optics) in 2007 from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. He was also an assistant professor in Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad for 3 years, postdoctoral research fellow in the Dept. of Mechnical and Aerospace Engineering, Monash University, Australia for 1 year and in the Dept. of Mechnaical Engineering, National University of Singapore for 2 years and Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Physics, Indian Institute Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum, India for 1 year. He is a member of SPIE and OSA. He has contributed 55 papers in international journals and a book chapter.
