I am a biomedical optics researcher specializing in the development of optical techniques for measuring and imaging physiological parameters. My primary interest is in prototyping instruments for non-invasive diagnosis and measurement of disease markers like tissue morphology or physiological states like blood flow and oxygenation, with an overall goal of tying microscopic and macroscopic measurements to develop better models of normal and diseased physiology.
