The SITAC is an official federal advisory committee within the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security. The Committee provides advice to the Department with respect to matters within Category 6 of the Commerce Control List that encompasses controls on dual-use lasers, sensors and optics among other technologies. During the open session of the meeting, the public is welcome to attend and participate.
