National Taiwan University Chapter - "NTU Azalea Festival" is one of the most important activities for high school students in National Taiwan University. Some parents also attend the festival when they bring their kids. Our chapter has set a stall every year at the NTU Axalea Festival. We demonstrate normal experiments about light and show our achievements from that year.

University of Texas at Austin Chapter - Over the past 10 years the Biomedical Optics Graduate Organization (BOGO) has participated in seven Explore UT open houses at the Univ. of Texas at Austin. The "Fun with Optics" presentation has been seen by hundreds of children and is regularly considered one of the must-see activities every year.

Univ. Laval Chapter - REPOL is a student organization affiliated with Quebec's SPIE student chapters. The Photonics Games are a REPOL's initiative; they consist of a friendly competition for grade 11 students that encourages learning optics and photonics through the hands-on application of physics principles and problem-solving. A yearly event since 2008, the Photonics Games earned many recognition and entertained hundreds of kids.

Another accomplisment REPOL is really proud of is the FEMTO project created in 2012. FEMTO (Framework of Educative Material for Teaching Optics) is a project dedicated to interest young high school and college students in the sciences of light. This project puts forward the expertise and know-how of students in optics and photonics accross Canada by the creation of the didactic experiments and materials, the translation and design of documents, as well as the production of multimedia content.

Furthermore, for the 2015 international year of light, REPOL created the educational exhibition "A Meeting with Light" in Quebec City. Presenting educational demonstrations of several light related phenomena, this exhibition's goal is to interest the general public in optics and photonics and to make them realize the importance of light in our lives.

Ctr. de Investigaciones Óptica Chapter - The CIO chapter is proud of being one of the most important chapters in Mexico and a central piece in the organization of national activities in collaboration with other chapters. The CIO chapter hosted the first Mexican student chapter meeting in 2010 and, since then, CIO has been part of the organization of national meetings, such as IONS-NA. Furthermore, this year CIO celebrates its XXXV anniversary and the International Year of Light. Several events took place and the chapter played an important role in these activities.
