Industry sponsorship opportunities

Fellows are required to spend 80 percent of their effort performing hands-on research on a specific project in the hosting lab, and 20 percent on training in translational research capability and strategy. The overarching goal is to “translate” new solutions all the way to impact in medicine. This strategy intrinsically creates new opportunities for companies in the field.

Sponsorship includes:

  • Listing on all promotional materials for the fellowship for the entire duration of their sponsorship.
  • Invitation to the SPIE annual meeting at Photonics West and a special session bringing together the Selection Committee, External Review Committee, SPIE leadership, and fellowship alumni.
