Updates on technologies such as telescopes, imaging systems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser systems, solar energy, etc.) which requires optical components. Tech Days covers technology investment efforts in optical materials, substrate design & manufacture, optical fabrication and metrology technology, optical coatings, wavefront sensing and control via adaptive optics, nano-technology imaging technologies, etc.

Permission for In-Person Meeting
NASA has approved Tech Days as an in-person meeting with the following COVID protocols:
  • Proof of Vaccination is Required
  • Face Masks are Required
  • Social Distancing is Required (we plan 2 chairs per table and a spread of chairs in back)
  • Attendees pledge not to attend if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID
  • Hotel follows all CDC Guidance including hand sanitization stations (which they do).
So, we are moving forward with an in-person meeting with presentations and tours.
At the same time, we are still protected.  Our contract with the Holiday Inn allows cancellation in case of a new COVID surge (or other Pandemic), Federal Government Shutdown, etc.
