Plan to Participate

We recognize how important it is for our community to report advances and collaborate with peers. We want to begin by confirming that SPIE AR, VR, MR is currently scheduled to take place as planned in January. We recognize the uncertainty the COVID-19 outbreak is having on the world and we want to assure you the health and safety of our community are of utmost importance to us.

Conference and SPIE leadership continue to closely monitor the ever-evolving global health situation as we follow the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local government authorities. Currently, we are working with the facilities in San Francisco to hold a safe event.

In the meantime, we are considering various contingency plans. There are many factors to consider, as we are learning from other recent SPIE events.

We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes as soon as possible so that you can make informed decisions about your participation.

We encourage you to participate by submitting your abstract(s), ensuring that your work will continue to have a platform and an opportunity to be shared with your community and within the SPIE Digital Library.

Look forward to your help in disseminating relevant research that positively impacts everyday life in the societies around the world.
