SPIE President-Elect Maryellen Giger visits Czech student chapters

SPIE President-Elect Maryellen Giger (University of Chicago) visited with student members and advisors from two universities on 26 April, while in Prague for SPIE Optics and Optoelectronics.

Czech Technical University students (above left) represented their chapter in the two-day exhibition during the conference.

Giger enjoyed lunch during a visit with chapter members at Charles University (above right and below) including advisor Jan Franc (far right above), chapter president Vojtech Vozda (far left), and other members.
