A typical work day.
A typical day is a lot about meetings: team meetings, meetings with sales and marketing, operations, business development, product management, and controlling people for sharing information and making decisions, which is vital for our business. A fair share of my time is spent on business trips worldwide. Understanding customers' needs, their view on developments of the market, and what we can do to support them to be successful in the market is one of my focus topics.

What I enjoy most.
I like the exchange of ideas and the discussions with exciting and interesting people all over the world! Our company product portfolio is so various and fascinating, it gives me insights into totally different industries. The multitude of applications and markets that SCHOTT materials serve and the wonderful experience of being exposed to these markets, technologies, and industries makes the job most interesting.
