Opto Diode Announces AXUV300C, a Large, Rectangular Photodiode for Electron Detection
CAMARILLO, Calif. –Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, introduces the AXUV300C photodiode with a large 331 mm2 rectangular active area. The new device is part of Opto Diode’s AXUV detector family that features high-performance detection of photons, electrons, and radiation. The detector package includes 2 anode and 2 cathode pins, which allows for more versatile connections. There is no window to allow detection of energy shorter than 200nm. Other features include a response time of 15 microseconds. The large active area device features electron detection as low as 200 eV. Opto Diode Introduces an Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Photodetector – SXUV5
CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, introduces the SXUV5, an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) photodiode with a circular active area of 2.5 mm diameter. The new device has superior responsivity in the 1 nm to 190 nm wavelength region, and is specially designed to be highly stable over long periods of time when exposed to high-intensity EUV energy. The new photodetector joins Opto Diode’s family of SXUV photodiodes with varying active area sizes to meet critical measurements, speed, and power monitoring performance objectives. The SXUV5 is housed in a windowless, TO-5 package to allow for responsivity at wavelengths shorter than 150 nm. Opto Diode Introduces an Ultraviolet-Enhanced Circular Photodetector
CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, introduces the UVG5S, an ultraviolet-enhanced photodiode with a 5 mm² circular active area. The new device is ideal for detection between 225 nm and 400 nm and features less than 2% response degradation after exposure to 7000J/cm2 at 254 nm. With 100% internal quantum efficiency from 200 nm to 365 nm, the UVG5S is ideal for laser power monitoring tasks and other high-energy detection applications. The photodiode is packaged with a welded cap that includes a UV glass window. Electro-optical characteristics include responsivity at 0.09 A/W (minimum) to 0.115 A/W (typical) and dark current of 1nA. Opto Diode Introduces a High-Temperature Infrared Emitter with Narrow Angle of Emission
• The high-power infrared (IR) LED device is ideal for military and industrial tasks. CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, introduces the OD-110LISOLHT, a high-power, gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) infrared light-emitting diode (IRLED) illuminator. With a narrow angle of emission and a wide temperature rating, the new IR emitter is ideal for applications in industrial and defense/military tasks, such as exterior covert lighting on aircraft. The total power output of the OD-110LISOLHT ranges from 50 mW (minimum) to100 mW (typical), and features a storage and operating temperature of -65 °C to +150 °C. Peak emission wavelength is 880 nm with a spectral bandwidth of 55 nm (typical). The half intensity beam angle is 7 degrees (typical). Opto Diode’s High-Temperature Infrared LED with Wide Angle of Emission
CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, announces the OD-110WISOLHT, a high-temperature, wide-angle infrared light-emitting diode (IRLED) specially designed for high-temperature applications, such as covert exterior aircraft lighting. The device features a peak emission wavelength of 880 nm and total power output ranging from 60 mW (minimum) up to 120 mW (typical). With a spectral bandwidth of 55 nm (typical), the new IRLED has a half intensity beam angle of 110 degrees and is conveniently packaged in a 2-lead TO-39 can with an isolated case. Forward voltage is 1.75 volts (typical) to 2 volts (maximum); reverse breakdown voltage ranges from a minimum of 5 volts to 30 volts (typical). The rise and fall times for the high-temperature wide angle IRLED is 20 nanoseconds, respectively. Opto Diode’s OD-110WISOLHT features a continuous forward current of 500 mA, power dissipation at 1000 mW and peak forward current of 1.5 A while the reverse voltage is 5 volts. Opto Diode Offers High-Power GaAlAs IRLED Illuminator
CAMARILLO, Calif. – Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW company, announces a gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) near-infrared (IR) LED illuminator with ultra-high-power output, the OD-663-850. Specially designed for use in surveillance and night vision applications, the device has a very uniform optical beam with a peak emission wavelength of 850 nm. Other features include total power output from 300 mW (minimum) to 425 mW (typical), with forward voltage from 4.8 V (typical) to 5.4 V (maximum). The spectral bandwidth is 40 nm with a half intensity beam angle of 120 degrees. Reverse breakdown voltage ranges from a minimum of 5 V to 30 V (typical); rise and fall times are 100 nsec, respectively. Housed in a standard, 2-lead TO-66 electrically-isolated package, the OD-663-850 is ideal for use in high-power, near-infrared illumination tasks.
