The American Center for Optics Manufacturing is well into the second year of establishing a nationwide network of precision optics ecosystems and building awareness of the career paths available as an optics technician. New Optics Technician training programs with teaching labs are up and running in New Jersey at Sussex County Community College, in Colorado at Front Range Community College, and the first training program classes start in October at Valencia College in central Florida.
