Dr. Tanya Myers has over 20 years of experience with optical and laser-based technologies, including high resolution infrared spectroscopy and chemical detection systems. Her current research interests involve methods to measure the optical properties of solids and liquids to develop high fidelity infrared spectral libraries. She received her PhD in chemistry from the University of Chicago and her BS degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with honors and distinction. She is currently a senior scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Before joining PNNL, she was the National Research Council postdoctoral fellow with NIST at JILA at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
