Profile Summary

I am a technical staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. I currently pursue research in optical interferometry, including system configuration, dispersion management, atmospheric turbulence considerations, and image reconstruction. I am also the commissioning lead for the Space Surveillance Telescope, which is being relocated to Australia.

Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, I was a staff scientist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. I led the metrology, data analysis, and simulation efforts in the adjustable X-ray optics program. I was also the optical designer of the first submission of the Arcus X-ray spectrometer mission concept.

I did my PhD in physics at the University of Iowa. My thesis project was the development of a prototype soft X-ray polarimeter for the NASA GEMS mission.
