Dr. Rajesh Kumar

Dr. Rajesh Kumar is leading sponsored R&D projects that range from healthcare diagnostic to food-control to cosmetics. He has obtained Ph.D in Physics (Biophysics and Medical Technology) and Master's degree in PHOTONICS. At present, he works at NASA/JPL in California, USA. He also worked in MIT- Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway. Earlier, he worked in University of St. Andrews, UK under the IIIOS (Integrated Interventional Imaging Operating System) consortium which is a joint collaboration of 6 Universities, 2 Hospitals and 3 Industries in Europe. As a Visiting Fellow, he has worked in SKKU (South-Korea), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (Mumbai), Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and, Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore).

He is the recipient of highly competitive research grants, prestigious fellowships, and several academic awards at national and international level. He has achieved the professional status of the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), United-Kingdom. He serves as the peer reviewer for research grants proposals and, scientific journal-articles at International level. He also served as the judge panel member of Intel-ISEF award and California state science fair award in the USA.
