Profile Summary

Currently working for Samsung Research Institute, India.
Previously worked for Prysm Displays, Bangalore, a subsidary owned by Prysm Inc., USA. The company manufactures a new technology of video displays named Laser Phosphor Displays. Occasional foreign visits, regular meetings and technical discussions with seniors, coworkers and technicians in United States and China provided me a true multinational experience. My work in industry includes

Research skills
1. Applications of Digital cameras
Worked on depicting 3D objects using Fourier transform profilometry and moiré topography.
Performed simulations to understand the concept of Sub Pixel accuracy algorithms on digital images. Worked on the principles of Laser triangulation, photothermal beam deflection (Mirage effect) in transparent materials, Diffraction based approach for wire diameter measurement etc.
2. Applications of Fiber Bragg gratings
Worked on strain sensors using Fiber Bragg gratings as a part of Master’s Thesis. Aware of the concepts of Transfer matrix and coupled mode theory for simulating FBG reflection spect
