Profile Summary

Chun-Lin Chang was born at Taipei, Taiwan in 1977. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Engineering and System Science (ESS), National Tsing-Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2000 and 2002, respectively, for studying the plasma physics and engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics (IPO), National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan in 2013 for high-power fiber master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) laser system and its applications on broadband supercontinuum generation and laser-produced- plasma (LPP) extreme ultraviolet (EUV) source. From 2003 to 2007, he was with the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Science (IAMS), Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, to study the terawatt Ti:sapphire laser system and its application on laser-plasma wakefield accelerator (LWFA) under the National Defense Service Project. He is currently the postdoctoral fellow of Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) and Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA for cryogenic Yb:YAG picosecond laser, optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier (OPCPA), and water- window X-ray via high harmonic generation (HHG). Dr. Chang is a member of the Optical Society of America (OSA), the American Physics Society (APS), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Society for Optical Engineers (SPIE).
