Dr. Lorenzo Zago

Born 1949 in Basel Switzerland. Dual Swiss and Italian nationality.
1973: degree in aeronautical engineering, Politecnico di MIlano, Italy.
1995: PhD, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland.
1985-1993: ESO on the VLT enclosures, infrastructures and environmental effects (seeing, wind).
1995-2007: CSEM, mainly in charge of high precision optomechatronics projects for space and astrophysical applications.
2007- : Professor for optics and metrology at University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland.
