Dr. Jonathan W. Evans

Jonathan W. Evans received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Cedarville University in 2008, the M.S. degree in electro-optics from The University of Dayton in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in optical sciences and engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2014. He joined the Air Force Research Laboratory as a Civilian at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, in 2008. He is currently an Research Physicist with the Sensors Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory. His interests include solid state lasers, infrared spectroscopy, and nonlinear frequency conversion. He is a member of SPIE and a senior member of Optica.
