Dr. Henry Y. T. Ngan

I received the B.Sc. degree in mathematics in 2001, the M. Phil. degree in 2005 and the Ph.D. degree in 2008 in electrical and electronic engineering (EEE) at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), China. I am currently an assistant professor of research in mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University. Previously, I worked in the ITRS Lab. (2010-2012) and IARL in HKU (2002-2008). I held visiting positions in The University of Sheffield, U.K.. (2012-2014) NEC, Japan and CyLab (Japan), Carnegie Mellon University, U.S. (2008-2009) and the University of British Columbia, Canada (2006). I have project experience for Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), and for CFM Management Company Ltd. Hong Kong in 2010-2011. I am frequent reviewers to many conferences and journals. I have been a conference chair of IS&T Electronic Imaging 2016. I am editorial board members of Detection, and IS&T Journal of Imaging Science & Technology. I am a senior member of IEEE and a member of the SIAM, ACM, IET and IS&T.
