Prof. Flavio Esposito

Flavio Esposito received the MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples “Federico II” and PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Naples “Parthenope”, Naples, Italy. He is currently Assistant Professor of Electronics with the Department of Engineering of the University of Naples “Parthenope”. His research activity is focused on the design, simulation, fabrication, and characterization of novel fiber optic devices. His work currently involves the development and application of sensors for bio-chemical measurements, radiation exposed environments, environmental monitoring, and structural health monitoring. He received the outstanding reviewer award from Sensors and IEEE Sensors Journal in 2019 and 2020, respectively. He is editorial board member of Sensors and Photonics, he serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Sensors Letters.
