Scientist, inventor and entrepreneur, I am specialist on development of technologies that use light to eliminate microorganisms that cause diseases and spoil food.
I've published several original research articles, patents and book chapters, and received scientific awards, including grants by the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), the International Photodynamic Association (IPA), the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and also received the Brazilian National Award for Undergraduate Research (CNPq) and Best Brazilian PhD Thesis on Pharmaceutical Sciences (CAPES).
