Matthew Cooper received his Ph.D. at the University of Central Florida, and is currently the Director of Personnel, Logistics, and Sustainment for Unites States Space Forces Korea. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and his M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, his MBA from the University of South Dakota, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include optical component design and experimentation relating to high-power fiber lasers, hollow-core fiber, and photonic lanterns.
