Solar symposium highlights progress

Martha Symko-Davies, symposium chair of Solar Energy + Technology at SPIE Optics + Photonics, spoke with SPIE Newsroom editor Rich Donnelly during the week of the symposium to talk about new developments and activities reported at the event.  Symko-Davies, from the National Renewable Energy Lab., said the conferences encompassed a broad range from basic R&D to technology commercialization in solar energy.
