Jürgen Stuhler: Prospects for quantum -- developing technology, defining the market

Jürgen Stuhler is Senior Director of Quantum Technologies at TOPTICA Photonics AG in Gräfelfing, Germany. He has been in that position since 2015, and with the company since 2006. Previously, he worked at the University of Stuttgart in the 5th Institute of Physics (2003-2006) as atom optics group leader and lecturer, and the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy in Florence, Italy (2001-2003) as a postdoc and senior researcher. He completed his PhD in 2001 at the University of Konstanz, Germany.
Stuhler has about 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 25 articles or book contributions. He was chair of the Quantum Technologies conference at SPIE Photonics Europe 2016.
